The very first step to joining our vibrant community is to get in touch. Please contact us on 07834529542 to arrange a visit for you and your child to our wonderful setting. This will give you a chance to see our facilities, meet our team, and experience the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Berry Lane Nursery.

Understanding your funding options

At Berry Lane Nursery, we aim to make quality childcare accessible. We accept all major funding options to help families manage the cost of nursery fees:

  • 2-Year Support Funding: If you are receiving benefits or have a low income, your child may qualify for 15 hours of funding from the term following their second birthday. We can help you navigate the application process for this.
  • Working Families 30 Hours Funding: For eligible working parents, 30 hours of funding may be available. You will need to apply for this directly via the Childcare Choices website.
  • Universal Funding: All children receive universal funding from the term after their third birthday.
  • Tax-Free Childcare Scheme: We are also registered to receive payments through the government's Tax-Free Childcare scheme, if this is applicable to your family.

Your child's settling-in journey

Once you have decided to send your child to Berry Lane Nursery, we will arrange a special settling-in session. This one-hour session, prior to your child's official start, allows them to spend some time with us, meet their keyworker, and begin to familiarise themselves with their new environment. We understand that every child is different, and if you feel more settling-in sessions are needed, we are happy to accommodate your requirements to ensure a smooth and happy transition for your child.
